January 22nd 2010 - Fog on the MerseyI took this photograph of the River Mersey this afternoon as the fog descended. It was so atmospheric, with the distant fog horns sounding and the lonely buoys bobbing on the surface of the water. I liked the contrast of the different shades of white on white, overlapping in this image and the seagull overhead - perhaps the spirit of a lost sailor, as legend would have us believe...
